DESCRIPTION:Windmill Lighting Ceremony\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSaturday\, Dec. 7 | 5-6 p.m. \n\nCorner of Grand Avenue and Diamond Bar Boulevard\n\n\n\nMark your calendars and plan to join family and friends in ringing in the holiday season at the annual Windmill Lighting Celebration!\n\nThis festive\, family-friendly celebration occurs at the base of the historic windmill structure\, located near the Diamond Bar Towne Center entrance closest to the intersection of Diamond Bar Boulevard and Grand Avenue.\n\nIn addition to the illumination of the windmill and photo opportunities\, enjoy holiday music and hot chocolate.\n\nThe City of Diamond Bar and the Diamond Bar Community Foundation co-sponsored the event.\n\nFor more information\, call the City's Parks and Recreation Department at (909) 839-7070.\n\nThe historic 30-foot windmill is the only remaining structure from the Diamond Bar Ranch era (1918-1956). It is believed it stood only 200 feet away from where it is now situated serving as a water source for keeping livestock and irrigating crops.
