Presentation: LA County Official FIFA Fan Zone – Whittier Narrows Recreation Park

The Los Angeles County FIFA World Cup 2026 Fan Zone and LA Metro Closed Street Activation “SGV Championship Corridor” at Whittier Narrows Recreation Area is a free community celebration designed to bring the excitement of the world’s largest sporting event directly to the residents of the San Gabriel Valley.
Led by LA County Supervisor Hilda Solis's Office, the event is scheduled for July 9–11, 2026. The Fan Zone will feature live broadcasts of FIFA World Cup Quarterfinal matches on giant LED screens, cultural entertainment, family-friendly activities, food and beverage experiences, and opportunities for local artisans, entrepreneurs, and community organizations to showcase their products and services.
Beyond soccer, the Fan Zone serves as an economic development and community engagement initiative, creating opportunities for small businesses, promoting tourism, supporting local vendors, and fostering regional pride while ensuring that families, youth, and residents can participate in the World Cup experience free of charge. The event reflects Los Angeles County’s commitment to making the benefits of the FIFA World Cup accessible to all communities while celebrating the diversity, culture, and economic vitality of the San Gabriel Valley.
