The mission of the Government Affairs Council (GAC) is to champion policies that expand pathways for learning and earning, support stable and affordable communities where residents can live, and foster conditions where businesses and families can thrive, while positioning the Regional Chamber of Commerce – San Gabriel Valley as a leading voice on issues shaping the region’s economic and workforce future.

Presentation:
"Marcel Rodarte, Executive Director, California Contact Cities Association and a member and former chair of the Los Angeles County Governance Reform Task Force, has had a significant leadership role in implementing Los Angeles County Measure G.
Marcel will brief the RCCSGV Government Affairs Committee on Measure G. His presentation will address the measure’s implementation, including the elected County Executive, expansion of the Board of Supervisors, establishment of an independent Ethics Commission, and the potential effects of these reforms on local cities and communities."
